Several Braves Fans Requesting Season Ticket Refunds After MLB Pulls All-Star Game

Some Braves fans are requesting full refunds for their season tickets after MLB pulls All-Star game from Atlanta over the state’s new election integrity bill signed into law.

Major League Baseball pulled the All-Star Game out of Georgia in favor of Denver, Colorado over concerns about the state’s recently passed voter election integrity legislation, including strengthened voter ID.

The Braves remain winless, however, fans are citing the MLB’s decision as a reason for the requested refunds.

Lifelong Braves fan Todd Trainer told Atlanta’s WSB-TV “I understand the Braves didn’t make this decision, in fact, they were very much opposed to it, but my connection to Major League Baseball is the Atlanta Braves and the only way I knew to protest this decision was to, at least for this year, to not attend any games.”

“Let me get this straight: the MLB moved the All-Star Game from a city with a 51% black population to a city with a 9.1% black population and removed a $100M economic investment in largely black-owned businesses” tweeted Turning Point USA Founder & President Charlie Kirk.

Major League Baseball is just the latest sports organization, after the NFL and NBA, to cave to the liberal media.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said Major League Baseball “caved to the cancel culture and a bunch of liberal lies.”

During an ESPN interview, Joe Biden said he would '“strongly support” moving the All-Star game out of Atlanta.

The state of Colorado also requires voters to show ID to participate in their elections.
