School Marching Band in Hot Water Over Playing “Amazing Grace”

Far-left radicals want to take prayer and religion out of schools and society.

Far-left atheists complained because a high school band played the song “Amazing Grace.”

“An anti-Christian activist group is complaining about a high school football team’s pre-game prayer and the marching band’s playing of ‘Amazing Grace,’” ToddStarnes.com reported.

“Scott Garlock, the head coach of the Liberty Benton Eagles football team in Findlay, Ohio, was the target of a Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) letter dated Sept. 1 for ‘using his position to promote Christianity to his students,’” Caleb Parke reported.

The group, Freedom from Religion Foundation, is a militant atheist group.

Todd Starnes explained further.

“There’s nothing criminal about a high school marching band playing ‘Amazing Grace’ or a football team reciting ‘The Lord’s Prayer,’” Starnes said.

Do you support prayer in schools? Should the school district sue the atheist group? Let us know below!
