New Zealand’s Laurel Hubbard to become first transgender athlete to compete in Olympic Games

New Zealand will send a transgender female to compete in weightlifting at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Left-wing LGBTQ+ activists appear to have a quest to destroy women’s sports and ensure that transgender female athletes, or people who were born as biological males, are able to compete and win in female sports.

“Kiwi weightlifter Laurel Hubbard will make history at the Tokyo Olympics by becoming the first transgender athlete to compete at the Games,” NZ Herald reported.

Hubbard was born as a male, but now claims to be a transgender female.

Controversy has raged online over the announcement that Hubbard would be competing in the games.

Laurel Hubbard is currently, “ranked 16th in the world rankings, but several of the athletes above her will be absent from the Games due to IWF rules that limit nations to only one lifter per category,” NZ Herald reported.
