Entire Georgetown Basketball Team Kneels for Anthem, Gets Blown Out By 23 Points

The entire Georgetown team took a knee before their game against Colorado in the 2021 NCAA Tournament Saturday.

The entire Georgetown Basketball team coached by Patrick Ewing decided to take a knee during the national anthem. The entire Colorado team stood proudly.

The Colorado Buffaloes dominated the Georgetown Hoyas from the opening tip closing out with a final score of 96-73. The nationally televised game wasn’t even close.

Conservative commentators and pundits on twitter couldn’t hold back after the Hoyas’ embarrassing blowout loss.

Students for Trump Founder Ryan Fournier called it “Karma” in a tweet shared below:

Conservative Director and Producer Robby Starbuck mocked them for losing by “23 points” in a tweet:

New York Times Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted the team “should have prepared for the actual game” instead of their “political stunt.”

See highlights below via CBS Sports of Colorado’s dominating performance. Colorado lead at half 47-23.

Maybe the next team to plan a major political stunt, will take a look at the outcome of the Georgetown vs Colorado game and reconsider.
