17 States Tell SCOTUS They Support the Texas Lawsuit to Reverse Election Results

Seventeen states informed the Supreme Court of the United States that they support Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton efforts to sue battleground states MI, WI, GA, and PA.

The states supporting the suit, all of which have Republican attorneys general, are the following:

  • Missouri

  • Alabama

  • Arkansas

  • Florida

  • Indiana

  • Kansas

  • Louisiana

  • Mississippi

  • Montana

  • Nebraska

  • North Dakota

  • Oklahoma

  • South Carolina

  • South Dakota

  • Tennessee

  • Utah

  • West Virginia.

Trump tweeted stating he planned to intervene with Paxton's legal effort at the Supreme Court, which the defendants have dismissed as a political stunt by the Republican attorney general.

The SCOTUS declined to hear a separate bid from Rep Mike Kelly and Sean Parnell challenging Biden's win in Pennsylvania.

The Supreme Court has yet to rule on Paxton's request.
