SCOOP: Did an Ohio Senate Candidate Attempt to Fake a Trump Endorsement?

Ohio’s RINO 2022 US Senate candidate, Jane Timken, has yet again found herself in hot water with the Trump base, this time for potentially faking an endorsement from former President Donald J Trump.

Politico reporter Alex Isenstadt tweeted an image of the Timken Campaign’s endorsement page late Friday morning, quoting the screencap saying, “people close to Trump are not happy with this image.”

The image shared, of course, was one featuring both Trump and Timken together. The Politico reporter added that Trump, “hasn’t endorsed in this race.”

Interestingly enough, shortly after the Politico report was released, the Timken website endorsements page was altered to remove the image of Timken and Trump together.

It’s clear people in Trump’s inner-circle are not pleased with Timken, however was Timken purposely trying to mislead Ohio voters to believe she had the support of the popular 45th President?

The Patriots Gazette reached out for comment from Timken and her campaign to clarify their intentions, but did not receive comment back before publication.

While speaking to Breitbart on the subject, the Timken team denied any wrongdoing while admitting to changing the website imagery.

“There are lots of pictures on Jane’s website of her and President Trump” the struggling campaign told Breitbart.

An Ohio county GOP leader spoke to The Patriots Gazette with anonymity to speak freely stating that they’ve been, “disappointed in Jane’s campaign” and they were a, “big believer and supporter in her early on but it’s become clear she just doesn’t have what it takes.”

While talking with a different Columbus political insider they speculated that, “Team Timken’s treading water” adding that “we all expected the President to come in and clear the field but when that never happened, she lost all of her momentum and has proven she’s incapable of separating herself from the crowded field.”

The Columbus resident speaking with anonymity added that there have been rumors spreading across the state that Timken might be considering dropping out if things don’t improve. As expected the Timken campaign has previously denied reports about dropping out.

Which leads us to our final pressing questions: Did Jane Timken’s campaign purposely try to misinform voters about her endorsements by placing President Trump’s likeness on the website? Why did the Timken campaign change the image after reports team Trump was upset?

Unfortunately for our readers in the great Buckeye State, we will not be able to definitively answer these questions due to the Timken Campaign’s inability to respond to our multiple requests for comment.

Did an Ohio Senate Candidate (Jane Timken) Attempt to Fake a Trump Endorsement?

While removing the previous imagery on the Timken for Senate endorsement’s page appears to be an admission of guilt, our ruling is inconclusive at this time.
