Senate candidate in Ohio allegedly caught faking endorsement from Trump

Trump’s aides have warned campaigns not to lie about getting an endorsement.

The America First agenda of President Donald Trump is gaining in popularity.

But his campaign aides are warning candidates not to fake or imply they have received support from the former president.

“People close to Trump are not happy with this image that appears on Ohio Senate candidate Jane Timken’s website,” Alex Isenstadt, a Politico reporter said. “He hasn’t endorsed in this race.”

“Lots of candidates pretend to have the support of President Trump. Most are full of [expletive],” Corey Lewandowski, a former Trump campaign manager said. “You will know when President Trump endorses someone,” he said in the Politico article.

The article includes a number of examples of candidates implying or outright saying they had Trump’s support.

Do you think we should only support America First candidates? Do you think these candidates should apologize? Let us know below!
