REPORT: House Dems Trying to Change Rules and Prevent Donald Trump from Becoming Speaker of the House

Conservatives such as Steve Bannon have floated the idea of President Trump running for the House in 2022 and then getting elected Speaker of the House.

Democrats may be responding to a fear of President Donald Trump being elected to the U.S. House in 2022.

They are trying to change the rules so that someone has to be a member of the U.S. House to be elected speaker -- in theory, anyone could be picked.

“U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, has introduced a bill that, if signed into law, would allow only an elected House member to be speaker,” WND.com reported.

Conservatives on social media have been talking about the possibility and loophole in the Constitution which would allow it to happen in theory.

While unlikely it would happen, President Trump did call the idea “very interesting” during a June interview.

Do you think Donald Trump should run for office in 2022? Do you want to see him as president in 2024? Let us know!
