Ohio Bar No Longer Showing NBA Games, Unless LeBron James is ‘Expelled’

Linnie’s Pub made the post on Wednesday, the same day LeBron James tweeted out a photo of Columbus police officer Nicholas Reardon saying “YOU’RE NEXT.”

The owner of the popular Cincinnati bar says he won’t play another NBA game until the LA Lakers player is expelled from the league.

Linnie’s Pub made the decision on Wednesday and shared the news in a Facebook post. "If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub," the post read. "We will not air them until LeBron James has been expelled from the NBA."

The bar owner pointed out that if President Donald Trump or Joe Biden made similar comments, there would be calls for "impeachment."

James, an Ohio native who left his hometown team twice, saw a tweet about the story on Saturday and made a condescending comment in response.

"Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp."

James tweeted an image of one of the officers (Nicholas Reardon) at the scene of the controversial shooting with the caption: "YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY" last Wednesday. James would later delete the tweet.

After word got out about the Cincinnati restaurant’s decision, liberals and LeBron James fans from across the country began leaving negative reviews on the Linnie’s Pub Yelp page. New York Times best-selling author Brigitte Gabriel encouraged her followers to leave 5-star reviews in response.

James was slammed by critics on social media for allegedly using his platform to incite violence against the officer. The international superstar has over 50 million followers on his Twitter account.
