Marjorie Taylor Greene breaks silence over Twitter ban
Twitter has banned Marjorie Taylor Greene from their platform, Facebook also blacklisted Greene, and now the Congresswoman is speaking out.
Twitter is once again playing the role of censor by banning Marjorie Taylor-Greene, a sitting U.S. Congresswoman, from the site. The ban will likely raise once again Twitter’s enormous power in political discourse and could open up the company to a lawsuit.
The ban applies to her personal account, but has not, yet, been applied to her Congressional account, NBC News reported.
MTG’s Democratic opponent cheered the news. Big Tech often works to silence conservative voices, and many leftists praise it for helping prop up far-left views by default.
Greene took to GETTR and released a scathing statement blasting Big Tech for their ban and even calling Twitter, “an enemy to America.”
The Republican’s tweets that drew censorship were reportedly about masks and vaccines, BizPacReview reported.
