Biden Administration spending $60 million per week to house illegal minor immigrants

The Biden economy has toppled under high gas prices and the threat of tax hikes -- but the government is spending $60 million per week to help illegal immigrants stay here.

President Biden is responsible for an immigration crisis -- there is no doubt about that. But it continues to cost American taxpayers to the tune of $60 million per week spent on illegal minor immigrants, according to recent reports.

“The Biden administration is spending at least $60 million per week to house the more than 16,000 migrant minors in its care, according to a report,” Fox News reported recently.

“That funding, which amounts to $3.1 billion per year, is used to care for children in facilities run by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) after they’ve been transferred from Border Patrol. Those costs are expected to rise dramatically over the coming months, according to a Washington Post analysis,” the news organization said.

That money could be spent on helping homeless veterans or battling poverty in our inner-cities -- instead it is flowing to house illegal immigrant children.

President Biden openly signaled that immigrants should come here, by revoking a number of Trump Administration immigration policies.

“The administration has quickly set up 10 emergency shelters with 16,000 temporary beds for migrant children in convention centers and repurposed oil worker camps and military bases,” Fox News said. “HHS had rapidly filled up the 7,700 beds in its network of permanent shelters, where the cost of care comes out to $290 per child, according to the Post analysis.”

The high cost of providing care for illegal immigrants is just another part of the disastrous results of the Biden-Harris immigration plan. After all but telling illegal immigrants to surge our country, the White House has failed to adequately secure the border and a public health crisis is building.

Medical doctor and Republican Senator John Barrasso said that the administration is grouping hundreds of kids, some with COVID, into tight quarters. No wonder the White House tried to ban Senators from taking photos.

Is this a good use of our hard-earned money? Should the Biden-Harris team admit they failed on the border? Let us know below!
