Biden Administration allows Iran to regain vote in UN General Assembly
The Biden Administration apparently thinks that appeasing the world’s largest state sponsor of terror will make them like us.
President Barack Obama sent billions of dollars of money to Iran and allowed them to start enriching uranium. Now, President Joe Biden is continuing the work of appeasing Iran by ensuring they are given power in the United Nations.
“Iran regained its vote in the U.N. General Assembly on Friday after the United States enabled Tehran to use funds frozen in South Korea to pay some $16 million it owed to the world body,” Reuters reported.
Instead of ensuring that the U.S. remains a powerful force, Biden has invited the Iranian mullahs to try to grab power and pass anti-Israel and anti-American resolutions.
Instead of America First, Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken have rushed to embrace America Last policies, including trying to raise taxes on the U.S. and let Chinese leaders walk all over the U.S.
“Iran says $20 billion of its oil revenue has been frozen in countries like South Korea, Iraq and China since 2018 under sanctions imposed by then-U.S. President Donald Trump,” Reuters reported.
Recognizing Biden’s weakness, Venezuela and Iran are attempting to transfer weapons, giving the president a test of how committed he is to bowing down to Iran or if he will stand up for the national security interests of America.
“U.S. officials worry that two Iranian Navy ships slowly steaming across the Atlantic might be carrying the arms Venezuela was alleged to be eyeing a year ago,” Politico reported. Trump warned the countries to stop the transfer, but Biden has not maintained the strong policies of the prior administration.
