Bachelor Host Chris Harrison Has Been Working With ‘Race Educator’ Since Leaving Show
Bachelor host Chris Harrison said on “Good Morning America” that he plans to return to hosting after his current hiatus. Harrison also spoke about seeing a ‘race educator’ to learn from his perceived mistake.
Harrison was again forced to apologize for “perpetuating racism” by suggesting that an embattled contestant (Rachel Kirkconnell) should be given “grace” and allowed to explain herself after a photo emerged of her attending an antebellum-themed fraternity party in 2018.
Harrison’s defense of Kirkconnell’s right to respond caused a whirlwind of events for the reality show host leading him to take a hiatus from the show.
Chris Harrison claimed that in order to better understand the ‘error’ that got him temporarily suspended from the reality competition show, he began working with a ‘race educator.’
Harrison spoke to host Michael Strahan in his first interview since exiting as host of The Bachelor, he once again apologized for “perpetuating racism” by suggesting that a former contestant on the show should be given “grace” and allowed to explain herself after a photo surfaced of her attending an antebellum-themed fraternity party in 2018.

“I plan to be back,” Harrison said.
Good Morning America Host Michael Strahan later said he was not impressed with Harrison’s apology claiming it was a “surface response.”
