REPORT: Parler sent warnings of violence on January 6th to FBI over 50 times
The popular conservative social media site Parler was once banned from big tech platforms over January 6th, and now reports are surfacing showing the platform alerted the FBI to potential January 6th violence being planned.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) revealed Tuesday in a video to the House Oversight Committee that not only did Parler out their members to the feds, they sent warnings and information more than 50 times.
It also appears the FBI was well aware of the attack being planned. It's unclear how much information they turned over to the Capitol Police or anyone in Congress on the relevant committees.
Former Department of Defense special counsel Ryan Goodman tweeted a screencap showing the report calling it a “big deal,” the tweet is shared below.
C-SPAN released footage from the encounter on their official Twitter account, the tweet is embedded below.
If Parler did in fact warn FBI officials prior to January 6th of potential violence being planned over 50 times, this would poke major holes in the left-wing narrative that Parler was partially responsible for what happened. In fact, many could argue the blame should be placed on the FBI.
