US Women’s National Soccer Team kneels for anthem, then gets CRUSHED by Sweden
Instead of pushing a racial grievance agenda, maybe Megan Rapinoe should have spent more time practicing.
Early on Wednesday morning, the US Women’s National Soccer team took a major loss in an opening Olympics round after taking a knee to show how “woke” they are.
“All 22 players on Team USA took a knee in solidarity with the radical leftist group Black Lives Matter before the game, a major point of contention with U.S. fans,” the Daily Wire reported.
The team, run by a group of hardcore anti-Trumpers including foul-mouthed Megan Rapinoe, “took a devastating 3-0 loss to Sweden early Wednesday morning in their Tokyo Olympic opener, breaking their 44-game winning streak.”
“Last November, members of the U.S. women’s soccer team notably wore Black Lives Matter jerseys and kneeled for the national anthem in the Netherlands in solidarity with the BLM movement,” the Daily Wire noted.
A number of social media users and commentators cheered the loss, pointing out that the same team that roots against the United States by embracing a narrative that the country is systemically racist, does not deserve the support of millions of patriotic Americans who have never owned slaves or practiced racism.
“Time to focus on the actual game instead of being activists,” one person wrote on Twitter.
Another person said it was “first time in my life that I'm glad to see a USA team lose.”
