Vanderbilt Kicker Sarah Fuller To Join Biden's Inaugural Event

Vanderbilt goalie Sarah Fuller announced on Twitter that she was invited to join in the inauguration of President Joe Biden. Fuller was brought on by the Vanderbilt football team for two games after the team’s kickers tested positive for COVID-19.

“It’s an honor to be invited to participate in one of America’s greatest traditions. This historic inauguration is especially meaningful for American women and girls. The glass ceilings are breaking and it is the time to #LeadLikeAWoman,” tweeted Fuller on Sunday.

Fuller became the first woman to take the field in a collegiate football game and was also the first woman to score points in a Power Five football game as well.

Fuller will be joining the Celebrating America broadcast, which will be an inauguration special hosted on January 20.
