NBA All Star Game Ratings Hit All-Time Low
The NBA All Star game proved to be a massive waste of time with the dwindling game hitting an all-time low in ratings and viewership.
The NBA All-Star game ratings reportedly tanked this year dropping a remarkable 24% from the previous game.
“Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game, which included the Dunk Contest at halftime, averaged a combined 3.1 rating and 5.94 million viewers across TNT and TBS — down 24% in ratings and 18% in viewership from last year (4.1, 7.28M) and the lowest rated and least-watched edition of the game,” Sports Media Watch reported.
The once popular All-Star game was notably competing against the Oprah’s interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on CBS.
“In the key young adult demographics, the All-Star Game ranked second for the night in adults 18-49 with a 2.4 rating. The aforementioned CBS interview had a 2.7,” according to Sports Media Watch.
The CBS interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was watched by an insanely large 17.8 million people audience.
