Ben & Jerry's Shows Billboard, Mural In Tampa Honoring Colin Kaepernick

Left wing and social justice ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s has put up a billboard in Tampa ahead of this year’s Super Bowl depicting Colin Kaepernick and promoting their new ice cream flavor which honors the former quarterback.

Along with the billboard is a mural that the company unveiled as well this week. The mural depicts children wearing Kaepernick t-shirts that say “Power to the People” and “I Know My Rights.”

“As we look back, it’s clear that Colin was on the right side of history. His pre-game protests were before George Floyd’s murder, before the 2020 summer of racial reckoning.”” said Chris Miller, the head of Ben & Jerry’s global activism department.

According to a report by The Hill, Ben & Jerry’s will be providing a free COVID-safe-community drive-thru to view the mural.
