Wyoming GOP Votes to Censure Liz Cheney, Asks for Donations Back

The Wyoming GOP announced on Saturday that they had voted overwhelmingly to censure Congresswoman Liz Cheney (D-WY) for voting to Impeach former President Donald J Trump.

The Wyoming GOP Resolution passed calls for the following:

  • Calls on Cheney to immediately resign from office

  • Calls on Cheney’s campaign to repay donations from the WYGOP to her 2020 re-election campaign

  • Vows to withhold future donations from Cheney

Cheney’s primary in 2022 will be one that garners national attention and receives immense amounts of donations outside of the state.
