WATCH: Joe Biden Loses Train of Thought During First Stand Alone Press Conference as President
Joe Biden appeared to lose his train of thought in an awkward moment during Biden’s first stand alone press conference since becoming President.
New York Times Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted out the unedited footage of the senile moment calling it “embarrassing.”
Biden was quickly mocked on Twitter for his brain freeze on live television, with Dave Rubin, host the popular YouTube show The Rubin Report calling it “the biggest political scandal in decades.”
Nationally syndicated radio host, Joe Pags, called Biden’s presidency “#ElderAbuse” in a tweet sharing the incredibly awkward moment.
Biden’s press conference was the first stand alone press conference in 64 days, causing several members of the media to question why the new President was not doing more public appearances. Biden’s senior moments seem to be happening more frequently as he progresses in age with the President even falling recently while trying to board Air Force One.
Biden took questions from a total of 10 reporters Thursday, which did not include any journalists from conservative outlets. Fox News’ Peter Doocy was in attendance for the press conference however he apparently not on the list of pre-approved reporters.
