Vice President Kamala Harris plans tour through Asia instead of addressing the border crisis
The Vice President is losing popularity and at times appears uninterested in securing the southern border, a job President Biden assigned to her months ago.
As the border continues to be flooded every day by thousands of illegal immigrants, border czar Kamala Harris will jet off to Singapore and Vietnam.
“The trip comes against the domestic backdrop of the continuing crisis at the U.S. southern border,” Fox News reported. “Back in March, President Biden tasked Harris with studying the root causes of the crisis.”
“President Biden and Vice President Harris have made it a top priority to rebuild our global partnerships and keep our nation secure, and this upcoming visit continues that work - deepening our engagement in Southeast Asia” White House spokesperson Symone Sanders said.
Meanwhile, our border continues to suffer from lax immigration enforcement.
Townhall reporter Julio Rosas has documented the ease at which immigrants can take a boat or walk over the border from Mexico.
“Another night in La Joya, TX another large group of illegal immigrants turning themselves over to Border Patrol,” Rosas reported on August 1. “There are well over 150 people here. There is also a lot of sneezing and coughing among the group.”
