Trump Says He Would Consider Governor Ron DeSantis for 2024 Running Mate
President Donald Trump said recently that if he ran for president again he would be very open to considering conservative Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate.
As President Joe Biden seeks to raise taxes and open up our borders to illegal immigrants, more and more people are likely hoping that President Donald Trump will run for office again in 2024.
He may pick a rock-solid conservative governor, Ron DeSantis, as his running mate if he does run.
“Donald Trump revealed on Thursday that he is ‘100%’ thinking about running for president again in 2024 and would ‘certainly’ consider Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as his running mate,” according to Fox News.
“Trump noted that DeSantis is ‘a friend of mine’ and ‘a great guy,’” Fox News reported during a recent interview with Maria Bartiromo.
While the left-wing media has tried to gin up fear of DeSantis, he has proven to be one of the most effective U.S. governors.
As seen above, DeSantis recently cracked down on violent protests by groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa.
He also has helped keep Florida’s economy booming throughout the COVID crisis, while protecting seniors.
Unlike New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, DeSantis is not responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in nursing homes.
