Teen trapped under rubble from Florida condo collapse meets his rescuers
The brave first responders in Surfside, Florida have been working around the clock to save people who were in the Surfside condo building.
Jonah Handler was one of the first people rescued from the collapse of the Surfside condo and he finally was able to meet the brave first responders who rescued him.
“Jonah Handler, 15, was seen in footage being dragged from the rubble moments after the building collapsed,” the Daily Caller reported. His mother, 54-year-old Stacie Fang, was also pulled from the “rubble but died a short time later from her injuries.”
“Now with God’s grace we stand next to each other sharing thanks and hope,” Neil Handler, Jonah’s dad wrote. “Jonah is recovering from his physical injuries but as we all know, bittersweet is the long road ahead without his mom Stacie in our lives.”
