Speaker Pelosi Says She Would Have Fought Capitol Rioters: “I’m a Street Fighter”

Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she would have fought the Capitol rioters if they found her as they breached the building.

Nancy Pelosi told USA Today she would've fought the Capitol rioters if they found her on January 6.

When Pelosi was asked what she would have done she said: "Well, I'm pretty tough. I'm a street fighter. They would have had a battle on their hands."

She also lifted one of her feet in a high-heeled shoe, joking, "I would have had these" to use as weapons, USA Today reported.

Pelosi suggested in her interview with USA Today that she might move to establish a select committee to investigate the January 6th events if efforts to create a special 9/11-style commission failed.

Speaker Pelosi said she would 'never forgive' the rioters for the “trauma” they caused to her fellow members and staff.

Since January 6th, Speaker Pelosi has taken extreme measures to secure the Capitol including the use of walls/fencing, US National Guard troops, and metal detectors.
