House GOP Introduces “FIRED Act” to Fire Highest Paid Government Employee, Dr. Anthony Fauci
The disgraced public health bureaucrat has given confusing and conflicting COVID guidance for more than a year.
Republicans have introduced legislation in the House of Representatives to remove Anthony Fauci, the highest-paid federal government employee, as Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The FIRED Act stands for “Fauci’s Incompetence Requires Early Dismissal Act,” putting term limits on how long one person can serve as the NIAD director.
The sponsors of the legislation, Representatives Warren Davidson and Ralph Norman explained their reasons for introducing the legislation.
“Fauci epitomizes” the “elite” that President Dwight Eisenhower warned about, Davidson noted. He pointed out that Fauci has failed as a leader and has been in the role since 1984.
“It’s time to ring the bells” on Fauci’s career and inability to lead, Norman explained, when asked why he would introduce a bill that will likely not pass.
Norman pointed out that Fauci has “been wrong since day one” on a number of COVID issues, and has never really worked in the private sector.
Fauci, he noted, has failed to speak out about a growing public health crisis on the Southern border.
Fauci also completely botched the government’s response to the AIDS crisis.
Just like how Fauci refused to endorse possible treatments for COVID, he also refused to promote a drug that could have saved lives from AIDS related to a pneumonia known as PCP.
“In 1987, pioneering AIDS activist Michael Callen begged Fauci for help in promoting the use of Bactrim as PCP prophylaxis and issuing interim guidelines urging physicians to prophylax those patients deemed at high risk for PCP,” a Huffington Post writer said in 2014.
“Dr. Anthony Fauci is rewriting history,” Sean Strub said. “He is doing so to disguise his shameful role in delaying promotion of an AIDS treatment that would have prevented tens of thousands of deaths in the first years of the epidemic.”
