Contractor pulls 500k business account from Home Depot store that threatened to call police over mask mandate

A construction contractor said he is going pull his half million dollar account with Home Depot after one store shunned him and threatened to call the police on him for not wearing a mask.

An unidentified construction contractor posted a video recently and said he will no longer spend money at Home Depot after one of the company’s California locations shunned, berated and threatened to call the cops on him for not wearing a mask.

He said he has been shopping at that location “for months” and he said employees refused to help him check out and even shutdown the self-checkout counters.

An angry employee, possibly a manager, can be heard scolding the contractor.

The contractor said he has a $10 million company and will now bring business to Lowe’s instead, which he said does not harass him.

Masked employees can be seen yelling at him for not wearing a mask, which he said he cannot wear for health reasons.

It’s not clear why the employees were worried about getting COVID, since the state has free vaccines widely available.

The state said that anyone older than 16-years old can receive a vaccine for free.

The contractor hinted that legal action may be forthcoming.

“It’s time that people start taking a stand against these unrelenting mandates,” Missy Crane noted at waynedupree.com. “At this point, we’re over a year into this virus and if someone is physically unable to wear one then just let them be.”

Do you think we should boycott Home Depot? Should they be sued for potential legal violations? Share your thoughts below!
