Marjorie Taylor Greene to Introduce Resolution to Expel Maxine Waters from Congress

Conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene said she plans to introduce a resolution that calls on left-wing Congresswoman Maxine Waters to be expelled over incitement of violence.

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to see left-wing Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters held accountable for potential incitement of violence.

“Very soon I'll be introducing a resolution to expel @RepMaxineWaters from Congress for her continual incitement of violence on innocent American people,” the Georgia Republican Congresswoman tweeted. “Rep Waters is a danger to our society.”

The left-wing Waters, who previously urged supporters to harass and scream at Trump administration officials, is facing further criticism over recent comments she made in relation to the controversial Minnesota shooting of alleged criminal Daunte Wright, who died while fleeing police during an arrest.

“On Saturday, Waters traveled to Brooklyn Center, Minn., to join protests in response to the police shooting of Daunte Wright last week,” the National Review reported.

Waters is a California Congresswoman.

“We’ve got to get more confrontational,” Waters said at a Minnesota rally.

Waters said she was ‘going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice,’ and called on others to join her,” National Review reported.

While it’s not clear there is a connection, National Guardsmen were shot at the following morning in North Minneapolis. Waters also said “we've got to stay on the street, and we've got to get more active.”

The comments are also seen as a veiled threat to the jury members in the Derek Chauvin trial, who are now deliberating if the Minnesota police officer should be convicted in the death of George Floyd in May 2020.

“As a sitting United States Congresswoman @MaxineWaters threatened a jury demanding a guilty verdict and threatened violence if Chauvin is found not guilty,” Greene said. “This is also an abuse of power.”
