Rashida Tlaib calls for “no more policing” or “incarceration” after most recent incident
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has reiterated her past support for defunding and abolishing the police.
This weekend, an alleged criminal Daunte Wright died after he tried to escape from an arrest. A police officer shot Wright who drove away before fatally crashing.
This, in the mind of Michigan Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, justifies defunding the police. “No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can't be reformed,” Tlaib tweeted on Monday.
Tlaib is a member of the radical “Squad,” a group of far-left, socialist politicians who push for high taxes, banning cars and other ideas outside of the mainstream of even most of the Democratic Party.
“Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder,” Tlaib said, taking the side of an alleged criminal shot by a female police officer.
However, her response was met with quick condemnation.
“Insane,” Cruz tweeted. “No more policing’” It doesn’t get more explicit than this that Democrats want to abolish the police.”
“How will that work?” Fox News host Bret Baier asked.
