Psaki: Biden Looking Forward To Repeal of Gun Maker ‘Liability Shields’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made it very clear that Joe Biden is planning to repeal the ‘liability shields’ that protect gun manufacturers.

AP overviewed the current gun control landscape after H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446 both passed the House.

H.R. 8 focuses strongly on universal background checks and would criminalize private gun sales with expansions of the gun point-of-sale background checks.

H.R. 1446 could expand FBI background checks to as long as 10 days.

Congressmen Burgess Owens took to the House Floor to oppose both measures.

In the last week, I’ve received over 1,000 letters from my constituents who strongly oppose H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446.

The AP quoted Jen Psaki commenting on the gun control push and saying President Biden is eager “to advance priorities.”

“Criminals will continue to have access regardless of new gun restrictions, and Americans will become increasingly defenseless against those who seek to do harm”, Rep Biggs went on to say.
