President Trump and Rep Liz Cheney Trade Jabs
Anti-Trump “Republican” Congresswoman Liz Cheney again attacked President Trump over the 2020 election results, but the President fired back in a statement released Monday.
The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney and Chair of the House Republican Conference has made a name for herself because of her persistent attacks on former President Donald J. Trump.
She launched a new attack Monday morning in response to President Trump’s recent claim saying, “The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!”
President Trump fired back with the following statement shared below:
Cheney was one of the few Republican House members to vote to impeach Donald Trump in January 2021 and has consistently dismissed Republican concerns about the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Despite representing a deep red state like Wyoming, where President Trump won nearly 70% of the vote, Liz Cheney has chosen a path that has her agreeing with liberal Democrats more often than her conservative constituents.
Cheney doubled down on her impeachment vote, going so far as to say she would defend her vote “every day of the week.”
President Trump is expected to endorse a Cheney primary opponent in the coming months and even recently called the Congresswoman a “warmongering fool.”
