Ohio Reps to Introduce Bill Recognizing June 14th as ‘President Donald J. Trump Day’
Two Ohio Republican state representatives announced that they are introducing a bill this week which will make June 14 “President Donald J. Trump Day.” June 14 also happens to be flag day as well.
“Former President Donald J. Trump was our 45th President of the United States and against great odds, accomplished many things that have lead our country to unparalleled prosperity,” read a memo for the bill.
"Let's show the 3,154,834 Ohio voters (a record and historic number of votes received for President in Ohio) who cast their ballot to re-elect Donald J. Trump that we as a legislature recognize the accomplishments of his administration, and that the Ohio House believes it is imperative we set aside a day to celebrate one of the greatest presidents in American history," the memo continued.
The reason for selecting June 14th is due to the fact it is also Trump’s birthday.
