New Jersey Truck Driver Who Spent Around $5,000 Defeats Democrat Senate President

Ed Durr defeated establishment Democrat Steve Sweeney.

Truck driver Ed Durr spent just $153 during the 2021 primary and $2,300 and change to defeat state senate president Steven Sweeney in New Jersey.

Durr is a pro-life, pro-gun conservative who won by going door-to-door and asking for people’s helps.

“What motivated me more than anything to get into politics was not being able to get a concealed carry gun permit,” Durr told Politico.
