Late-Night Talk Shows Suffering from MASSIVE Rating Losses
The left-wing late night talk shows are suffering massive rating losses in 2021, with many outlets reporting President Trump’s departure from office as the reason.
Season to date the following late night hosts received the ratings listed below:
Late Show with Steven Colbert — 2.9 million viewers
Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon — 1.5 million viewers
Jimmy Kimmel Live! — 1.8 million viewers
In 1986, Johnny Carson averaged 6.3 million nightly viewers and that’s in a country with nearly 100 million fewer citizens.
The ratings are down BIG according to The Wrap:
Colbert is averaging 2.915 million total viewers which is down 16% and 425,000 viewers in the key demo.
Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show is averaging 1.533 million viewers which is down 21% and 343,000 viewers in the key demo.
Jimmy Kimmel Live has averaged 1.800 million viewers which is down 9% and 344,000 viewers in the key demo.
Even the Comedy Central late night show hosted by Trevor Noah titled The Daily Show is averaging a shrinking 905,000 total viewers which is down 11% from last year.
The Daily Show featuring Trevor Noah has managed to receive even lower ratings than Jon Stewart, the previously fired host.
Fox News, a network not known for late-night television programming, recently launched Gutfeld, which has been averaging approximately 1.5 million nightly viewers.
So while anti-PC hosts like Greg Gutfeld are receiving strong ratings on Fox News, more traditional late-night programming is tanking in ratings due to woke culture and the lack of President Trump in office.
While leftists may be happy to have President Trump out of the White House, the fake news media outrage machine is losing steam without a popular opposition to mobilize against.
