Biden DoJ suing Georgia over election integrity law
The DOJ argues that Georgia wants to stop black people and underprivileged communities from voting.
President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland are doing the bidding of left-wing activists and will sue Georgia for passing election integrity laws.
“The Justice Department is suing the state of Georgia over its voting law, Attorney General Merrick Garland and Civil Rights division chief Kristen Clarke announced Friday, arguing that the state is violating federal law by inhibiting voting rights on the basis of race,” CBS News reported.
The DOJ will argue that the law, which requires things like voter ID for absentee voting, is deliberately written to stop black people from voting.
CBS News did not provide a copy of the lawsuit.
“This lawsuit is born out of the lies and misinformation the Biden administration has pushed against Georgia's Election Integrity Act from the start. Joe Biden, Stacey Abrams, and their allies tried to force an unconstitutional elections power grab through Congress - and failed,” Governor Brian Kemp said.
Garland has been paraded around as a moderate guy, but in fact is pushing a far-left, anti-election integrity agenda embraced by leftists such as AOC and Ilhan Omar, who now basically run the Democratic Party.
