Joe Biden Reportedly Working on New $3 Trillion Spending Plan

After passing a nearly $2 trillion liberal wish list spending bill, the White House is ramping up the printing presses for more giveaways.

“President Biden's economic advisers are expected to brief him on a new proposal they say will create U.S. jobs,” CBS News reported. “It reportedly includes about $1 trillion in spending on improvements to roads, bridges and the cellular network.”

The news station said there were “reports of up to $3 trillion” in new spending.

One conservative commentator said he expects this to be used to justify higher taxes.

“In just two months in office—Joe Biden has proposed nearly $5 trillion in government spending,” Bill O’Reilly said on Twitter.

“I don’t know if Joe even realizes this – but this is part of the progressive plan, they want to run up federal spending so that they have to blow up the tax situation.”

The proposed spending comes after the Administration rammed through a $1.9 trillion spending bill under the guise of COVID-relief. In reality, only a small amount of that bill went directly to mitigating COVID, such as money set aside for vaccination outreach.

The new spending bill will likely face an uphill battle in Congress, with even some Democrats, such as Senator Joe Manchin, likely to be skeptical about the high amount.

Republican opposition is expected as well.

“Although Republicans on Capitol Hill have expressed an interest in approving more infrastructure spending, they have balked at tax increases and other domestic spending initiatives,” the Financial Times reported.
