James O’Keefe announces plans to file defamation lawsuit against CNN
Conservative journalist James O’Keefe announced that he plans to sue CNN for defamation.
Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe announced last night that he plans to sue CNN for defamation.
O’Keefe posted videos on Tuesday that show Charlie Chester, a technical director for the left-wing media company, talking about how it targeted politicians such as Matt Gaetz and Donald Trump and bragging about how their goal was to get Trump out of office.
You can watch the videos here. Chester also said the network tried to show President Biden jogging to show that he was healthy. However, another battle is brewing between the conservative journalist and the failing news network.
“I intend to sue CNN for defamation,” O’Keefe said at the end of his segment on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show. It appears to stem from an ongoing controversy after outlets, including the New York Times and CNN allegedly defamed O’Keefe’s work exposing potential voter fraud in Minnesota.
“Actual malice is the standard,” O’Keefe said. He believes he can win -- since he recently achieved a major victory against the Times.
“I think a lot of people need to start suing the media for defamation,” O’Keefe said. Hannity said he might be filing defamation lawsuits himself.
