Ilhan Omar Compares United States and Israel to Terrorist Groups Like Hamas, Taliban
The refugee-turned-Congresswoman frequently bashes the same country that saved her family.
Far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar recently compared the United States to terrorist groups like Hamas and the Taliban.
Omar, notably, was given a chance at freedom and security after her own country of Somalia collapsed when she was young.
“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity,” Omar wrote on Twitter, along with a copy of a video from a recent Congressional hearing. “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban.”
Omar frequently pushes ignorant and offensive opinions that degrade the United States and our allies, such as Israel.
“Late last month, Omar accused Israel of committing ‘war crimes’ following days of conflict between Israel and Hamas that saw thousands of missiles fired indiscriminately at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv,” Fox News noted.
She also previously used an anti-Semitic trope and warned about lobbyists for Israel and said that politicians were being bought off by pro-Israel lobbyists.
