George W Bush appears to compare January 6th rioters to 9/11 terrorists in 20th anniversary ceremony

George W Bush, the former US President who started the War on Terror in Afghanistan and Iraq, alluded to a comparison of September 11th 2001 to the events of January 6th 2021.

"They are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them,” the former President stated while comparing international and domestic terrorism.

The former President did not explicitly state that he was referring to January 6th, but the message was received.

Commentators on social media took to Twitter to blast the former President for seemingly comparing the actions of January 6th rioters to that of radical Islamic terrorists who killed nearly 3,000 innocent civilians in the largest terror attack on US soil.

President George W Bush is most famous for his legacy of starting wars, lowering taxes for corporations, increasing spending, and his cozy relationship with military contractors. His younger brother Jeb Bush was destroyed by President Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential primary race.

Do you think George W Bush is wrong for comparing 9/11 to January 6th? Do you think George W Bush is still bitter about JEB losing to President Trump in the 2016 primary? Should the Bush Family take a back seat in politics? Comment your thoughts below!
