Biden Uses 9/11 to Call Out “Dark Forces” in Opposition to “Peaceful” Religion of Islam
President Joe Biden used the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 to attack Americans for what he deemed to be anti-Muslim anger that occurred in the aftermath of the attacks.
“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said in a recorded speech released for the 20th anniversary of September 11th.
Biden said unity was at risk after the attacks but country prevailed.
Joe Biden was criticized heavily on social media for his lack of respect and emphasis of importance for the 20th 9/11 anniversary.
President Trump criticized Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan stating it opens doors for China and Russia to harm the United States. While interviewing with Fox News’ Sharyl Attkisson Trump blasted the withdrawal as "incompetent" and foreshadowed it could endanger the United States and benefit its enemies.
"I don't know because you have people going all over the world and being dropped all over the world right now, and nobody knows who the hell they are, Sharyl," Trump said. "These aren't the interpreters that we took. These were people that rushed into the planes, and they were so interested in trying to make it sound like 'Oh, they're doing a good job.' These people, many of these people are going to be terrorists. Okay? They're going to be terrorists. They were very powerful. They were very energetic in getting onto the aircraft."
