France bans unvaccinated Americans from entering the country
Authoritarian governments in Europe are requiring individuals to be vaccinated before entering their country.
France has let hundreds of thousands of refugees flood into the country in the past few years, but finally they found someone they want kept out of the country: American citizens who have made the decision not to get vaccinated.
“France has removed the United States from its safe travel list, becoming the latest European country to ban unvaccinated American travelers,” politicsvideochannel.com reported. “A French government decree issued on Thursday bumped the United States from the country’s ‘green’ list, down to ‘orange,’ effectively banning unvaccinated American travelers.”
Other authoritarian countries will implement similar travel bans.
“Denmark has reintroduced its travel ban on U.S. residents who are not fully vaccinated,” Forbes reported.
The ban is likely to raise further hatred of individuals who have made a decision not to get the vaccine. In reality, it’s no one’s business if someone takes a vaccine or not.
Some people may have already had COVID and decide that they do not need the vaccine. Others may have religious or philosophical objections to getting vaccinated. In a free country like ours, we should respect people’s decision to get vaccinated or not get vaccinated.
