Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib teamed up with known anti-Semite to fundraise money

The Michigan Congresswoman had previously distanced herself from the anti-Semite, but recently helped him raise money.

Michigan Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, who recently called Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu an “apartheid-in-chief,” recently helped raise money with a known anti-Semite.

“A controversial Palestinian American activist linked to anti-Semitic social media posts praised a "great successful fundraiser" with Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., earlier this year -- years after she appeared to distance herself from him over his claims,” Fox News reported.

“Maher Abdel-qader, a Palestinian American activist who has in the past shared anti-Semitic content to social media, posted in March to his Instagram about the progressive event, which took place over Zoom,” Fox News said.

The event raised money for Sam Rasoul, a Palestinian-American running for Virginia’s lieutenant governor.

Abdel-qader “claimed ‘satanic’ Jews secretly control the media and have exaggerated the Holocaust’s death toll,” Fox News said. He tried to justify his posts in 2019 to The Daily Caller.

While it is understandable that a politician would not know about every single donor, Tlaib had already distanced herself from Abdel-qader, before backtracking and teaming up with leftists to raise money for Rasoul.

“Tlaib, Omar, and ‘Squad’-mate Rep. Cori Bush, D-Missouri, have repeatedly described Israel as an ‘apartheid state’ and accused its leaders of allowing the slaughter of civilians,” Fox News noted.

Tlaib and fellow anti-Semite Ilhan Omar have both received financial support for Abdel-qader.

Should Tlaib resign from Congress over her disgraceful connections? Should she apologize to Jews for her offensive statements? Share your thoughts below!
