Chris Wallace “irate” about CNN CEO Jeff Zucker’s departure
Liberal political commentator Chris Wallace is reportedly upset after CEO Jeff Zucker was forced out of CNN, where Wallace now works.
Liberal Chris Wallace is apparently not handling the departure of his CNN boss Jeff Zucker well.
Radar reported:
Chris Wallace is “irate” at the ousting of CNN president Jeff Zucker and his future at the news network is uncertain, Radar has been told.
In a move that stunned Beltway television circles, the no-nonsense veteran anchor — son of legendary CBS correspondent Mike Wallace — announced he was leaving Fox News after 18 years for a prized gig at CNN’s new streaming-video outlet CNN+ in December.
“As I embark on this adventure, I am honored and delighted to join Jeff Zucker and his great team. I can’t wait to get started,” Wallace said when he left.
His show is set to start this spring.
Zucker left after revelations of an affair he had with Allison Gollust. The both had allegedly begun an adulterous affair while both were married to someone else.
Conservatives piled on Wallace after the news broke he may be regretting his departure from the conservative CNN rival, Fox News.
News has now surfaced that Chris Cuomo is suing CNN for several million dollars, with potentially Zucker’s actions being included in the lawsuit. Only time will tell how this plays out for the controversial liberal network.
