Chauvin juror who allegedly hid Black Lives Matter activism busted wearing anti-Chauvin shirt

It appears now that Brandon Mitchell has at least twice wore an anti-Chauvin shirt, a fact he did not disclose before being selected as a juror in the Derek Chauvin trial.

Brandon Mitchell has quickly fallen from a celebrity juror to someone, who, ironically could potentially allow Derek Chauvin to walk free.

Mitchell allegedly hid his support and activism in support of Black Lives Matter. He also reportedly did not disclose that he went to an anti-Chauvin, pro-Black Lives Matter rally with George Floyd’s family just months before being selected for the jury.

“Brandon Mitchell has said he doesn’t remember wearing or even owning a George Floyd-themed T-shirt, but it turns out he sported it more than once,” Valerie Richardson at the Washington Times reported.

The shirt says “Get your knees off our necks” a direct reference to Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin and the name of the August 2020 march.

“Eric Nelson, attorney for Derek Chauvin, filed a motion Tuesday asking for a new trial on multiple grounds, including the judge’s refusal to move the trial or sequester the jury, and requested a hearing on juror misconduct,” the Washington Times noted.

Do you think Mitchell should face punishment for possibly lying? Do you trust him to be a fair juror? Do you believe he intentionally misled the court? Share your comments below!
