Biden takes 12th trip to Delaware as the economy tumbles, prices skyrocket

The president will take another trip to Delaware, his 12th since entering office, even as the economy stumbles and inflation skyrockets.

Jill Biden turns 70 on Thursday.

“The trip was first reported upon notice of a Federal Aviation Administration notice restricting local airspace from Wednesday to Friday,” the New York Post reported.

The Capito meeting is standing between Biden and a scheduled trip to his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Del., later today. So if the meeting goes long, perhaps take it as a sign that the talks are going well!

It is unclear if Biden plans to continue working while he travels, as President Trump was known to do.

There is nothing wrong in theory with a president taking time off, all presidents certainly do, but the optics of heading to the beach as inflation skyrockets, the economy tumbles and illegal immigrants flood our Southern border, does not look good.
