Black shooting spree suspect purposely targeted white, “military looking” men according to detective
A black man is suspected of going on a racially motivated shooting spree, according to recent reports.
“A black man accused in a 20-hour, two-state shooting spree that wounded five strangers told cops he was motivated by race and intentionally targeted ‘military-looking’ white men he believed wronged him, police said,” according to the New York Post.
“Justin Tyran Roberts, 39, was arrested Saturday by police in Columbus, Georgia, where cops say he wounded four people — including two white men — during separate attacks late Friday and Saturday afternoon,” the news site said.
“Basically, he explained throughout his life, specifically white males had taken from him, and also what he described as ‘military-looking white males’ had taken from him,” Brandon Lockhart, the Georgia detective, testified.
While politicians and celebrities rushed to condemn an alleged hate crime in Atlanta, they have been silent about a racially motivated attack on white people. Perhaps because it would undermine their message.
