America First OH Senate Candidate Josh Mandel & Marjorie Taylor Greene to Attend Back the Blue Rally
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Ohio’s America First, Pro-Trump Republican Senate candidate Josh Mandel are confirmed as speakers at a “Back the Blue” rally at the Ohio statehouse in Columbus this Saturday.
The “Back the Blue Freedom Rally!” is scheduled to happen on the West Lawn from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., according to a Facebook event promoting the rally from the Ohio Gun Owners, self-described as a “grassroots gun rights organization.”
Greene confirmed her invitation to speak at the event over Twitter on Monday, while also alluding to the death of Ma’Khia Bryant last week.
In addition to Greene and Mandel, other current and former lawmakers have been invited as speakers to the event. Ohio Gun Owners noted on its website that event tickets are free, but registration is required.
Josh Mandel, Ohio’s former State Treasurer and clear front-runner for the 2022 Republican Senate Nomination, will be headlining the event with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
While our editorial board has not made any endorsements in the 2022 Ohio Senate Primary, it would appear Josh Mandel is the most conservative member in the race, and is on his way to becoming the Buckeye State’s version of Jim Jordan in the US Senate.
A stark contrast and refreshing change from the establishment Kasich-DeWine politicians that have historically dominated the state.
