23 Year Old White Male Rioter Gets 4-Years and $12M Fine for Burning Minneapolis Police HQ
A 23 year old white male rioter will spend the next four years of his life in prison and pay a $12 million fine for his role in lighting a Minneapolis police station on fire after the death of George Floyd.
On May 28th, 2020, Dylan Robinson (23), helped light a Molotov cocktail for another person to throw at the MPD 3rd Precinct HQ , according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Prosecutors allege Robinson was part of a 4 person conspiracy to commit arson on the building, in addition he helped tear down perimeter fencing at the precinct.
The 23-year old rioter’s mugshot is shared below courtesy of the Crow Wing County Sherriff’s Office.
Nearby stores including Wendy’s, Target, Walmart, and AutoZone all suffered looting and fire damage as a result of the rioting partially incited by Robinson.
Surveillance cameras allegedly captured Robinson on the night of the arson attack, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.

“On the night of May 28, 2020, Mr. Robinson chose to depart from lawful protest and instead engaged in violence and destruction,” Acting U.S. Attorney Anders Folk reported.
The St. Paul Division of the ATF also spoke out on the issue.
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jeff Reed stated that the, “ATF is committed to investigating the civil unrest arsons of 2020 that occurred throughout the Twin Cities.”
Bryce Michael Williams, 27, Davon De-Andre Turner, 25, and Branden Michael Wolfe, 23, co-conspirators in the case all face sentencing at later dates.
