Tim Allen: ‘I Kind of Like’ How President Trump ‘Pissed People Off’
In a recent interview the Home Improvement star Tim Allen admitted that he enjoyed how “the last President pissed people off.”
During an interview on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, the Buzz Lightyear voice over actor opened up about his personal life, career, and political beliefs.
When asked about President Trump, Hillary Clinton, and the last four years the actor admitted that he enjoyed seeing how much the former President Trump irritated others on the left.
"Once I realized that the last president pissed people off, I kind of like that,"
"So it was fun to just not say anything. Didn't join in the lynching crowd” the conservative actor continued.
"I just didn't think that Hillary should have been president," the legendary comedian and actor said. "In the end, you go the other direction. There's nothing personal about it. If you don't like it then wait 'til the next election."
Tim Allen did attend President Trump’s inauguration in 2016 and talked a little bit about why he’s a conservative in the interview.
"I just don't like, once I started making money, I had this silent partner that took almost half of my money and never gave me anything for it. That was the taxes, I've never liked taxes. Whoever takes the taxes and never tells me what they did with it, I'm a fiscal conservative person with money. That's it."
Allen also spoke about how in the past he never got in trouble for politics because he doesn’t preach his beliefs or tell others how to live their lives.
"I literally don't preach anything. What I've done is just not joined into, as I call it, the we culture. I'm not telling anybody else how to live. I don't like that. We should do this, We should do that."
