President Trump Releases Statement Calling for Peaceful Demonstrations Only

The White House released a statement on Wednesday in light of FBI reports of potential violence at future demonstrations, calling for peaceful law-abiding protests only.

In light of FBI reports that more demonstrations are on the horizon, the White House released a statement from President Trump asking for peace from his supporters in all future demonstrations.

The full statement is posted below:

In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You.

Only time will tell if the President’s words will help ease tensions and calm tempers with President-Elect Biden’s inauguration around the corner and House Impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump underway.
