Illegal immigrant charged in drunk driving death of 22-year-old in Idaho
An illegal immigrant will face charges in the death of a young Idaho man who was killed by a drunk driver.
Connor Dale Holcomb’s parents will never see him again, will never get to celebrate another birthday with him and will never spend another Christmas with him.
That’s because an illegal immigrant allegedly killed Holcomb by drunk driving recently.
Holcomb, an Idaho resident, died “from blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver,” on May 19, according to his obituary.
“Cecilio Eliut Camacho Montoya, a 32-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested and charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and aggravated felony drunk driving after he allegedly hit and killed Holcomb,” Breitbart News reported.
Montoya was driving so recklessly, that the young Idaho man “was thrown from his pickup truck,” Breitbart reported the sheriff’s office as saying. “Montoya’s semi-truck disconnected and hit a number of concrete barriers before it stopped moving.”
Montoya, who had drunk “a few beers” had an incredibly high level of alcohol in his blood.
“Afterward, the deputies said Montoya failed a field sobriety test and registered a .22 blood alcohol content level, which is more than the legal limit of .04 for commercial drivers and over the legal limit of .08 for standard Idaho drivers,” Breitbart reported.
ICE has asked that Montoya be detained because he is likely an illegal immigrant, according to the agency.
